Stubrik's Steakhouse & Bar

118 E. Commonwealth Ave. Fullerton, CA 92832
(714)871-1290
4pm-2pm Daily | Serving Dinner until 12am
http://www.stubriks.com

Stubrik's steakhouse serves some of the best steaks in town. For great food and live music, Stubrik's is the place to visit in Downtown Fullerton. Stubrik's is also a full bar open until 2am. The only complaint about the bar is that they only serve beer by the pint. They also have a Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday from 4pm-6pm and 10pm-12am/2pm. This menu gives you the option of appetizer's like the Stubrik's sampler of jalapeno popper, mozzarella sticks, and breaded chicken tenders as well as other small eats. It also offers cocktails and draft beer at discounted prices. Overall, Stubrik's is the place to go when looking for a great meal and a good time. Definitely worth the drive into DTF!

They also have pool tables available while you're drinking and/or eating. Be prepared for additional entertainment as well since bar frequently has live bands playing. A list of bands and events can be found on their website. They also post events and band information regularly on their Facebook page.

Their menu offers steaks like the Top Sirloin, New York Steak, Porterhouse, and Filet Mignon in a 8oz 12oz or 24oz. Their specialty steak is the black and blue which is absolutely delicious as long as you like bleu cheese. They also have an array of restaurant favorites like Chicken Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon. I had their Jalapeno Popper appetizer which is a Jalapeno stuffed with a tequila infused cheese blend and they were delicious. When ordering an entree always order the soup not the salad. The soup on the day I went was a baked potato and broccoli soup which was very good. However, the salad comes with sunflower seeds which is not my preference and the lettuce used seemed wilted and browning. Each entree is served with a large portion of seasoned vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes.

Wahoo's Fish Tacos

Wahoo's Fish Tacos is located at the corner of Harbor BLVD and Chapman in Downtown Fullerton.
Although it isn't within walking distance of CSUF campus, the short 5 minute drive is well  worth the trip.  Wahoo's Fish Tacos serves traditional Mexican food, and a limited seafood menu.

*(This 1:00 clip is not the Fullerton location, but you can get a better idea of the atmosphere and foods that they serve)

Theme:

The theme inside is modern and seems to be catered to the younger crowd.  There are stickers all over the walls inside (skate, snowboard, ski, biking, ETC.) They also serve beer.  It's always good to check out their "Beer of the  month", which runs for about $1.99 for a 12 oz bottle.

Experience:
I made a short visit to this Wahoo's on 3/6/13.  When you walk inside, you will be greeted by a friendly staff member.  I was surprised at how many employees took a second to ask how I was doing and attempted to create a short conversation.  After you place your order, they will ask your name.  When they bring the food out to your table they say "Here you go Alan, is there anything else I can get for you?"  I was a little surprised that the guy who brought me my food was calling me by my name when I only told the cashier.  My meal was great and only cost $5.05 with tax.

Wahoo's Fish Tacos (FULLERTON)
Overall:
I had a great experience eating lunch at this Wahoo's.  I would recommend going there sometime to give them a shot.  If you are seeking a true authentic Mexican food restaurant, you might want to look elsewhere. The food is a little "Americanized" but overall tasted great!

DINER REVIEW • JUN 08, 2011
This place has the best fish tacos, and thus wahoos is the closest one to Disneyland where we are on vacation. We got here a minute after they closed, but they still hooked us up after a very long day. These guys are awesome!! Mmmmmm fish tacos black beans and rice. Doesn't get much better than that.
